Our Design and Build Process (Simplified)

1. Initial Consultation & Estimate

You share your ideas, plans, or sketches. We review your vision, discuss structural options, and provide a preliminary estimate for your timber frame. If you’re unsure where to start with your design, then seeking out an architect is recommended.

2. Design Agreement & Drawings

Once you’re ready to move forward, we create your timber frame drawings:

• Layouts

• Joinery details

• Timber sizing and placement
  You review and approve these before anything moves to production.

3. Engineering

Your approved drawings are sent to a licensed engineer familiar with timber frame construction.
This ensures the structure meets all necessary building codes for your project location.

4. Timber Fabrication

With stamped drawings in hand, we begin crafting your frame in our shop.
This includes:

• Selecting timbers

• Precision cutting

• Sanding, finishing, and pre-assembly checks

Every piece is inspected before it leaves the shop.

5. Delivery & Raising

Your timber frame is delivered to the job site and assembled using a crane.
This phase typically takes a few days to a week, depending on the size of the structure.
